  The third generation DBAL-A³ (Dual Beam Aiming LASER) is equipped with an Infrared Pointer, an Infrared Pointer/Illuminator and a Green Ultra Powerpoint visible pointer, which is 5 times more visible than traditional Red LASER’s. The DBAL-A3  allows you to sight in the Visible LASER and Co-Aligns the IR LASER. The DBAL-A3 also has the illuminator. In contrast, the DBAL-I² does not offer the Dual Beam Co-Alignment. You will need to sight in your IR LASER with Night Vision and your Visible LASER separately. Also, there is no illuminator on the DBAL-I².

     The DBAL-A³ provides the same overall functionality as its predecessor, the DBAL-A², but with enhancements that include dual remote cable ports that incorporate a tactical light by plugging the supplied Y-cable into both the light and the visible override port on the back of the laser housing. Pressing the Y-cable pressure pad will simultaneously activate the tactical and the visible laser. The second pressure pad, plugged into the standard port, will activate the infrared laser functions. This unique feature allows for immediate transition from low light to daylight operations by simply choosing which pressure pad to activate.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

     The DBAL-D² is a Class IIIa laser device that features a Visible Pointer for daylight and low light operations, as well as an Infrared Pointer and Infrared Illuminator for use with Night Vision Devices. The IR beams can be operated individually or in combination, in both low power (LO PWR) and high power (HI PWR) settings.
The DBAL-D² emits a highly collimated beam of IR light for precise aiming of the weapon and a separate IR Illuminator for the target or target area. The IR Illuminator is equipped with an adjustable bezel to vary the size of the illumination beam based on the size and distance to the target. The Visible Pointer and the IR Pointer are co-aligned. The Visible Pointer can be used to boresight the device without the requirement of a Night Vision Device and will simultaneously boresight the IR Pointer.
The DBAL-D² can be used as either a handheld illuminator/pointer or it can be weapon mounted using the Throw Lever Mount. In the weapon mounted mode, it can be used to accurately direct fire as well as illuminate and identify targets.
When the Safety Screw is installed in the rear of the DBAL-D² housing, it prevents the operator from accessing the, HI PWR modes of operation.

A simple touch of a button will automatically adjust your point of impact for the distance to your target with the ATN Auxiliary Ballistic Laser 1500. This range-finding laser attaches to any ATN Smart HD day, night, or thermal riflescope and interacts with the scope’s ballistic calculator via Bluetooth, allowing operation with the scope’s controls. Its 5-1500 yard/meter range is accurate to within one yard or meter. It can add the distance to the target to videos of shots made by the smart scope. The Auxiliary Ballistic Laser includes an integrated sunshade and attaches to the riflescope with two screws.
